EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION
OF FEMALE ATHLETES

MORE FIRE

More Fire is an inspiring and incredible tale of resilience, determination and the power of sports. Across Uganda, young women are stepping onto baseball fields and discovering opportunity. In a place beset by poverty, gender inequality and daily uncertainty, they are finding out that baseball is way more than a game. It is a wellspring of confidence, sisterhood and hope. At the heart of the movement is Lillian, a single mother and former catcher, who is committed to helping the next generation imagine and pursue a better future.

RAISING THE PROFILE
OF WOMEN’S HOCKEY

From frozen ponds to the PWHL and Olympics, See Her Be Her is raising the profile of women’s hockey.

REDEFINING WHAT IS POSSIBLE FOR WOMEN’S BASEBALL

SEE HER BE HER 和, which premiered on the MLB Network during the 2024 World Series, follows seven trailblazing women from the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Japan, South Korea, Cuba, and Uganda — each redefining what’s possible for women in baseball. Competing for the World Cup Championship, these athletes chase victory, not only for their teams and countries, but for every young girl who dreams of stepping onto the field.

Presented by Grassroots Baseball, the feature-length documentary celebrates perseverance, equality, and the power of representation — showing how today’s players are shaping the future of women’s sports for generations to come.

Founded by Grassroots Baseball®, SEE HER BE HER provides a crystal-clear vision of what female athletic achievement looks like for an entire generation of girls and boys.

Our mission is simple yet powerful:  creating opportunities by empowering communities to champion women’s sports through storytelling, advocacy, and visibility. We celebrate their achievements, amplify their voices, and inspire lasting change.

“Every young girl who wants to play needs to see there’s a place for her in the game,” says SEE HER BE HER cofounder Jean Fruth. “Through storytelling, we can open doors, change perspectives, and inspire inclusion.”
